I love stories. I love hearing stories, shaping stories, and finding new and innovative ways to tell our stories. I believe storytelling is a powerful tool for preserving traditions and cultures while inspiring the transformation of both our inner and outer worlds. The basis of my creative work seeks to shift dominant narratives and dismantle the status quo — moving people towards both personal and collective liberation, while building community in each step. Author bell hooks said it best: "Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion" — and I believe that building a new world and embodying our sovereignty is something we do as a collective, resisting the individualism framework we've been taught to lead with.

Using my authenticity, intuition, and curiosity to guide my interests and passions, I connect to my creativity in a myriad of ways: Writing and editing stories for the magazine I co-founded, FLOAT + FLOW, supporting people in creating sacred spaces at home and beyond through my interior decorating offerings, and doing whatever else I feel called to practice in the moment. My exploration of these practices comes from my childhood, where diving into my creativity and artistry was deeply encouraged by my parents, and I continue to weave that into adulthood by living in creative abundance.

I currently work, live, and dream on Lumbee and Tuscarora land (Raleigh, North Carolina).
